I’m Celia Abernethy. In my free time I make jewelry. I love working with glass beads and semi-precious stones. I live in Italy. Fortunately, I get to travel often and look for beads and stones everywhere I go.
I came from New York to Milan, Italy to work as a model. I was lucky enough to have worked for some of the top Italian fashion houses. My modeling days are long gone but my love for fashion, design and creation has stayed with me! I studied jewelry making with Maestro Davide DePaoli and worked as his apprentice. I also went to the Castello Sforzesco art school in Milan where I fell in love with artwork and decorative motifs of the Italian Renaissance.
I make jewelry as a passionate hobby. I sell my pieces online, at markets, in boutiques and commissions of special items.
I have learned the importance of exploring new materials and how exciting it was mixing them. I love working with glass beads and semi-precious stones and metals.
